Single-storey, double-storey and garage conversions, planned, managed and signed off properly.
What To Expect
An extension is one of the most significant building projects a homeowner takes on. Getting it right depends on more than laying bricks. It requires accurate groundworks, a roof structure that ties in correctly with the existing building, accurate steelwork, and finishing trades who know what they are doing. We handle every stage ourselves.
We have been building extensions across West Sussex since 1989. Single-storey rear extensions on 1970s semis in Rustington. Double-storey side extensions on Edwardian terraces in Worthing. Garage conversions in Bognor Regis and Felpham. The building stock across the county varies considerably and we know how to work with it.
Every project starts with a site visit. We look at the existing structure, check what is achievable under Permitted Development or what will need a planning application, and give you an honest assessment before any money changes hands.
Common Questions
We carry out extension projects across the full West Sussex coast. Most of our work falls within 30 minutes of our Littlehampton base, covering Worthing, Lancing, Shoreham, Hove, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Felpham, East Preston and Rustington.

A well-built loft conversion adds genuine living space and real value. We manage the full process, from planning through to Building Regulations sign-off.
What To Expect
A loft conversion is often the most practical way to gain an extra bedroom, a home office, or an extra bathroom without the cost and disruption of moving. Done properly, it changes how a house works.
We have completed loft conversions on all the typical West Sussex house types. Dormer builds on the semi-detached 1960s stock common in Rustington and East Preston. Hip-to-gable conversions on the detached homes along the Worthing and Lancing seafront. Velux-only builds where the roof pitch is sufficient and planning considerations rule out a dormer. Each one is assessed individually before we commit to a design.
Structural calculations, party wall matters where required, Building Regulations compliance throughout, and a finished staircase and room that looks like it was always part of the house. That is the standard we work to.
Common Questions

Foundations, drainage, site clearance and groundworks for extensions, new builds and commercial projects. The part of the build most people never see, done properly.
What To Expect
Groundworks are the foundation of everything that follows. A poorly prepared site will cause problems at every stage of the build above it. Subsidence, drainage failures, structural movement — most of them trace back to groundwork that was rushed or cut short. We do not cut short.
Experienced groundworkers handle site stripping, excavation, concrete foundations, drainage installation, and hardcore and laying for driveways, patios and new build pads. We coordinate groundworks directly with the wider build programme on extension projects and carry out standalone groundworks contracts for developers and self-builders across West Sussex.
The chalk and clay soils found across the county, from the coastal belt around Littlehampton and Felpham to the inland areas near Arundel and Pulborough, require different approaches. We have been working in West Sussex ground conditions since 1989 and know what to expect before we break the surface.
Common Questions

Block paving, patios, turfing and garden landscaping, coordinated by us and finished properly.
What To Expect
The front and rear of a property matters. A well-laid driveway or a properly designed rear garden adds value, reduces maintenance, and makes the whole property feel finished. Poorly laid paving subsides. Block work without adequate foundations shifts. Drainage that is not properly considered creates problems every time it rains.
We carry out driveway and landscaping work to the same standard as our building projects, which means proper groundworks underneath, correct drainage, and materials that suit the property. We work on block paving driveways, tarmac, resin-bound surfaces, patio slabs, decking, raised beds, turfing and garden clearance.
Most of our landscaping clients in the Littlehampton, Rustington, and Worthing areas come to us after an extension project, but we take standalone driveway and landscaping commissions throughout the year.
Common Questions

Full installations from strip-out to final fit, with trusted trades coordinated by us.
What To Expect
A kitchen or bathroom installation that goes wrong nearly always comes down to the same thing: too many different trades who do not communicate with each other, and a homeowner left to manage the gaps. We remove that problem by coordinating the work properly from start to finish.
From the strip-out of the existing room through to first fix carpentry, plastering, tiling, plumbing, electrics, and final fitting, we manage trusted trades through every stage. You deal with one point of contact. The trades work to the same standard and the same programme. There is no gap between the plumber finishing and the tiler arriving where nothing happens for two weeks.
We install kitchens and bathrooms supplied by the homeowner or purchased through our preferred suppliers. All work is carried out in compliance with Part P (electrical) and Building Regulations where structural alterations are involved.
Common Questions

Whole-home refurbishments managed from first fix to final decoration.
What To Expect
A full property refurbishment is a different kind of project to a single-trade job. It requires carpentry, plastering, electrics, plumbing, tiling, decoration and often structural alterations, all coordinated to a programme that keeps the work moving without delays stacking up between trades. When the work is properly managed, those delays are far easier to avoid.
We have carried out full refurbishments across West Sussex on all types of property. Victorian terraces in Worthing and Chichester that needed rewiring, re-plumbing, new kitchens, new bathrooms and re-plastering from top to bottom. 1970s detached properties in Bognor Regis and Felpham that had not been touched in 30 years. Buy-to-let properties being brought up to standard before being let or sold.
Every job starts with a thorough site survey. We scope the full works, give you a clear programme, and manage every stage closely.
Common Questions

We build and restore flint walls and carry out quality brickwork and blockwork on projects across West Sussex. Whether it is a new boundary wall, a garden feature or structural masonry as part of a larger build, we bring the same standard of craftsmanship to every job.
What To Expect
Flint walls are part of the character of West Sussex. Building and restoring them properly takes time, patience and the right hand. We use traditional techniques and quality materials so the wall sits right with the property and stands up to the weather for decades to come.
Alongside flint, we carry out general brickwork and blockwork, including boundary walls, garden walls, piers, retaining walls and structural masonry as part of larger builds. Every job is laid clean, plumb and to the correct specification, with proper foundations underneath.
